Memphis has played consistent defense in every game this year against credible teams including Duke, UCF and UH. Duke (4-2) a BCS school has scored the most points 28, UH (5-0) 25 and UCF (4-1) 24. But Memphis often settles for FGs including 3 and 5 in two of their games. In last 2 weeks they've held UCF to 270 yards and UH to 247 yards. But I've had this game penciled in as a win all year and so far I'm batting 100% so no reason to switch now. My prediction:

Time for SMU to release the hounds. Score a TD on every possession and bring the heat on D. Time to blow someone out and get our mojo back .

Memphis has held their opponents below their season scoring and yardage averages but they don't have much of an offense to speak of and have been extremely turnover prone their last two games. Plus we've won our conference road openers the last 4 seasons.
