What does the number of AAC teams ranked above 100 in computer polls (guessing that is what you meant) have to do with SMU winning out and Louisville losing a game?

Beat an actual football team before you start this nonsense. Any team with a pulse can beat 4 AAC teams ranked in the 100s. Just think if there were 8 AAC teams above 100. That's how SMU fans think. An actual BCS team beats BCS programs on their schedule-they earn it. SMU fans are too frightened to even play BCS schools. SMU hasn't earned jack and there aren't many signs it will earn jack.

I love how you throw SMU fans into one giant category. I personally am all for playing quality BCS opponents. I thought it was absolute garbage that we wimped out on a home game with Baylor. I'd say that decision was 50/50 split.

We've earned upper second tier status. We're a top 55 school instead of a school in the 115 of 120 range pre JJ.
Before anyone goes there, it''s not good enough. Let's keep going. But we've earned *something*

we played the hardest ooc schedule in the country. why did you want to go 0-4?
i would be glad to win the acc.
loserville has played a very easy schedule. if you want to get on somebody get on them. it has been a cake walk.
we can beat uofh. they are no big deal but they may beat loserville.
ucf will be very tough there.
there is no disgrace if we win this conference.

Speaking about respect...one way to earn it is to get into a BCS/Playoff Bowl and winning. Isn't that what happened to Louisville just last year? Also, I've seen no one saying not to play at least 2 OOC tough games to win respect, but 4 at this time is suicide. The players, the coaches and many fans on here want to believe BCS is still possible so why not keep quiet until it's not. But, of course, being a negatoid allows you to say,"I told you so". Sad!

We are nowhere near the 55th best team in the nation. You're biased support for JJ is disgusting. Be honest, what is your relation to JJ?

Before or after he changed his ranking system in the middle of the week?

FWIW - we were on the ESPN Bottom 10 "watch list" just a few weeks ago. That is where we were when JJ first started.
I know it is not an objective metric, but it is the perception of the most powerful sports entertainment website on the planet.
Beat Cincy on the road before we talk about being in the top half of CFB. Personally, I'd say 75-90 is just about right.

Off topic, but the Astrodome garage sale is this weekend.
I know we had some bad moments there, but wouldn't mind a couple those orange seats for the mancave -$200 per pair...Saw some incredible high school ball played there....

You need some coffee Nacho
ACC-> AAC
UCF is a home game.
(Though winning the ACC would be fine too)
