Lets wait to see if GG ok before ruling him out, but short week and needs to be available for UCF. Freshman walk-on Cayman Carter, QB, from California, also available, but GG will be missed. IF MCL, I have seen 2 to 4 weeks as average, he would be back for Bowl game with a chance he could be back for UCF game, with proper rest and rehab.

I've torn both too. First time, it hurt so much I threw up on the sideline. Second time, it didn't hurt one bit, but I knew exactly what had happened. You could hear it snap from miles away

We are not going to be able to rely on our running game to beat UH.

I figured we had a 40/60 chance to beat UH with Gilbert, with Burcham id say its next to 0.

Sucks for Gilbert, I would have loved to see him take this team to any bowl in his senior year. Some seem to think Burcham looked good. Other than that one throw I saw a weak arm and lots of dangerous throws. June did not seem to have much faith in his passing, other than the 4th and 1 of course.

Doctor talk. I knew what I had done both times when I did it. Before MRI.

Yeah we understand you tore yours, you've said it quite a bit. I've also torn a few ligaments. Obviously you'll know based on the pop but the degree of tear is a big difference in recovery time.

Did anyone bother to read the post above that it's just a strain and he will be back?

I have talked to one of the coaches and he said he will have an MRI Monday. He's out for UH but won't know about UCF until MRI. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

yeah I was wondering about the timing-but June was talking post game about an on-field diagnosis by a Doctor who he says is almost always right-I'm sure there has to be some more detailed tests conducted later. Have the results of the more thorough tests come back?

oh I see that's been answered while I was posting

He hasn't had an MRI and the only actual doctor quoted said strain. Even 404 above says only MCL and nothing about severity.

All I want to know is what Gary Patterson would have done.
