Game delayed. The rest of wotrld waits on SMU to see final BCS team. Game played Monday Nite and the whole world is watching-OK maybe not. But game has to be played but could conceivably be delayed

BCS selection is Sunday, right? So that'd be a disaster.

Well not for SMU. They will know BCS selection will be either Louisville/Cincy or UCF and that one more AAC could qualify for one of its 6 Bowl Games. Meanwhile, Gilbert gets more time to heal. The fans of about 6-8 schools tune into see the delayed SMU game on main stage to see who goes to which bowl. Spotlight game. A healthy Gilbert throws for 600 yards and leads SMU to a bowl.
