Thanks. Went back and forth with him all morning. Nice guy and pretty cool that he actually responded, although we had different opinions.
I shoulda been a sportswriter, not a lawyer. More fun!

Where did you play ball?
It was in high school. We had a travel game every other year or so. We lost 35-0. Would you like me to try and dig up my itinerary from 7 or 8 years ago for that trip as well, or are you done being a jackasss for the day Mr. conspiracy theory?

No, this is called football weather and it's awesome.
I used to walk barefoot through the snow, in the midst of a blizzard, with baseball sized hail and wind chills at 2 degrees just to get to school.... you guys don't know cold.

Not only did I do that, but it was uphill both ways. And I loved it. Get off my lawn.

haha- first liar doesn't stand a chance.
However, growing up in the north we often played in games that were below 15 degrees and snowing at the time of the game. Guess we were too young and stupid to know better.
One of the best fball games I have ever been to was the OSU- Mich. game where we got over 2 ft of snow during the game. Thousands were stranded and couldn't get home for two days. With only seconds left OSU kicked a fg and won the game but Mich. complained that it was snowing so hard that the refs could not have seen if the ball went through the uprights or not.

Played HS ball in Colorado...cold...sucked. Played college here in heat...sucked.
Wouldn't trade either. Football is supposed to be hard.
Want perfect conditions? That's what video games are for.

CAM- yep I think that was it. However I thought OSU won. Guess when you get my age you forget a lot.
We managed to get to my aunt's house in Springfield so we spent the night there. There were hundreds that spent the night in the Springfield morgue sleeping on the floor because they were stranded.
BTW- two of my h.s.coaches played on the same team as Vic Janowicz at Elyria. All 11 of their starting lineup were offered schollys at OSU.
