Doesn't sound bad to me. Sounds like they have a plan and they are going to follow the plan.Rayburn wrote:So Sabin can be had for $11 million?
SMU has to have $11 mil lying around someplace.
Wait, $100 MILLION?
nevermind.
This will go badly for Texas, I can feel it.

Several of the Board of Regents are not even UT grads, one is an Aggie, and I honestly don't think that Mack's future is a high priority for the Board as a whole. It is anybody's guess whether Powers will survive this internal fighting. In this respect, I wonder if the new AD knew what he was getting into.Rebel10 wrote:Yes, anyone that wants a coaching change is part of a nest of vipers. If SMU and UT swapped head coaches, how do you think the respective teams would do next season?

it would be priceless to be sitting in the middle of a bunch of old crotchety tea sip dudes when it is 3rd and one on the 5 yd line vs OU, and June doesn't run a tight end, a blocking back or run any sprint out options. just drop back and try to find an open guy for the third time in a row with 300 lb DL's breathing down you neck. Priceless.
