LB replaced "deadwood" with significantly better talent. JJ isn't bringing in more talented players, just different players with potential. I guess we'd be replacing DIRs that didn't pan out with new DIRs.

There is a WR, NG and DB they are currently actively recruiting that I think they take without question. Consider also there are at least 2 kids with chronic/serious medical issues that we don't know about.

Any word on the homesick DFW kids at SEC, B1G, ACC and non local Big 12 schools that are transferring to SMU?

Ah, the JUCO signings- are we about to pull a Kansas St? Coaches in last year of contracts usually load up on them!

Interesting pickup- the knees scare me but that's why we could get him. Much like Jeanlys and Guinyard before him.
