Very nice! Great pass from Nic Moore with 2 dudes on him.

Bottom line - I just want these guys to play with high energy. That, coupled with LB game plans, will win you most games.

Let's go on a run now. It all starts @UConn! Let's prove all the haters wrong (those who think we can't win on the road against good teams). . . . well, we haven't really, but that's besides the point - no better time to start than now!

No doubt.

It's deserved, and he does more harm than good. I don't credit him with slowing down House, I credit House's sub 30% 3-point shooting percentage for bringing him back down to earth.

Last night was probably his best game, but for an upperclassman, he still looked lost and frustrates the hell out of me. How hard is it to make an uncontested layup? One of his rebounds from his "super stat line" was a rebound off his own miss of...you guessed it, a layup.

Frazier still has a ways to go but last night, IMHO, was very encouraging. I agree that he definitely still cheats to far to the strong side on defense making closing out on a three almost impossible. Smart teams with a good three point shooters can still absolutely undress him. And, frigid as he is from downtown, he contributed in many ways last night. He is getting it. I think he's still got plenty of mistakes in him and I see him as a solid and consistent contributor next year. He's getting better and just before he got pulled with about three minutes and change left I was wondering if LB would finish with him. Nope! I love his spirit while he's on the bench but he could tone down the towel a bit.

I've been hot and cold all season on both Sterling and Ryan. Together they seem to add up to one whole. Neither will ever be mistaken for an All-American but both are capable of making big plays and doing the glue-guy stuff. Each has had moments where they've picked up the five on the floor at crucial times in games. I like them both as next year bench contributors.

Best sign: Frazier took disappointment of lack of playing time at Temple and Rutgers and according to Larry had his best week of practice thereby earning playing time. I am impressed that Frazier is still working hard. Glad it resulted in tangible accomplishments

I trust Larry, and obviously it is working and the kids are responding, but I was thinking after the game last night that his roster management has been all over the place. Sterling, Keith, Head, Cannen (pre and post Moreira injury), Manuel, Ben Moore, have all gone through games this year where they have played a lot, or little to none. Most of time differing from one game to the next.

I think it's great that the kids all seem to respond when they get their call. Not sure if that is attributable to the Legend or if we just have some great competitors.

It really seems to fall in the very crowded "pleasant problem" category we keep filling up. It can't be easy finding minutes for everyone when you have so many new players, so many young players and no true studs yet. Yes, Nic and Markus have been the most reliable but nobody has been able to bring it every night. Having the ability to go 10-11-12 deep is going to work both for and against you but it's got to considered net positive. My guess is that LB will pair down the rotation come tourney time and frankly I wouldn't be surprised if that happens as early as our three remaining games against the other conference leaders.

Knowing what you have with so many new faces is an ongoing enterprise!

strangely, he is one of my favorites. seems like he always has a great attitude and embraces the minutes he gets out there.

"He is going to pair down the rotation..."

No disrespect, but we have been saying this all year. Obviously, Larry is working matchups and rewarding practice effort. I don't have a problem with the deep roatation. Keep our guys fresh as long as every guy goes in playing like it is his last.

Deep/defensive teams are matchup nighmares come coference/NCAA tourny time.

no dis taken…what I think I'm trying to say is that the ever-changing rotations of the regular season will start to solidify from this point on. Depth is definitely a huge advantage come tourney time. I just see a more consistent order to things coming soon…. given, of course, the specific situation.

He did all the little things that if he buys in and continues to improve his feel for the game I can see him being drafted after his junior year

Better yet-completely forget everything his handlers told him about the NBA-go to class, study and listen to Larry Brown. Right now the last thing he needs to worry about is the NBA

His handlers are good people, and very much in smu's corner. You have no idea what they did or didnt tell him about the nba,but keep hating on high school coaches and aau folk. You know, the ones who are the lifeblood of this program and others.

I think you are talking about his posse not his handlers. As Hoopmanx has said that his handlers are in SMU's corner from what I have heard.

He had a great game but with out his long shot. I really liked his aggressiveness and he showed he has a good pass. He snuck in a got some crucial offensive rebounds. With the assists the drives and the offensive rebounds he showed he can be more than a spot up shooter.

He really seems like a good teammate and has a good attitude. Because of both we will see a lot of improvement and he will be a great player for us.

How did BHop and Sasser do their freshman seasons? Fairly high profile players, but I don't remember them struggling as much as KF has this year..........
