Surely some alumni can fly out Lobster, Elf and Luigi to the game. Heck they are the meat and potatoes of our student section. They have been so dedicated. I wish upon all wishes that they could be there. I realize that a lot of other students have been just as dedicated. Loster Man, Elf and Luigi have become the recognizable face of our students.

If they're like me, it may not be the expense that is a problem. Having Tuesday/Thursday games basically kills the entire week, except maybe Monday. I know I'd be there if it was just about the money.

Of course, they're still students so for them I guess it's more likely to be the money rather than the time...

I recruited two Dallas non-SMU affiliates who will be in NY for business to buy tickets and go.

I am in NY for business Tuesday and the work team is taking a 5 pm train to Philly. Switched mine to 10 PM departure and I will be at the semifinal game. Going to go ahead and claim +5 for mom and dad who decided to fly in for the week and my Hell's Kitchen cousins who are also coming!

Go SMU! Win Tuesday and my brother and I are there on Thursday. Booked SW Airlines yesterday, still cheap flights to Newark all day, but only one cheap flight returning late Saturday.

I'm there +4 NYC friends, all SMU alumni.

We'll be on hand.

Did SMU send emails to people in the northeast area? Wonder if Jason Wolf will be there?

Has there been a rally of the NY alumni group to carry on the bedlam at MSG that we bring to Moody? You could see that the UCONN fans helped lift their team.

Hopefully Brown's history in New York will get the non affiliated spectators to cheer for SMU. I doubt any school will have a great number of direct support. We need the New Yorkers on our side.

I didn't get anything from SMU. not even from the SMU alumni in NYC. nothing on Rick Hart's Tweet where in the pass, he announcement a pregame get together for Temple and UCONN games. Very disappointed not seeing any effort, from any group, other than ponyfans.com.

There was an email sent about a pre-game gathering from 5-6:30 EDT at Pennsylvania 6 Bar - 132 W 31st Street
New York, NY 10001 before Tuesday's game. Not sure if everyone received it or not.
