That was my read as well on Thomas, and that was only from watching his Highlights… He doesn't look 5 star to me.The Falcon wrote:I know that smart basketball people have praised him and rated him as a 5 star recruit.

He seemed awkward, slow, and out of condition. He didn't show lot of basketball smarts.
Had two things going for him because as a high school player he was tall and he had some
weight to him - which makes you a rough and tumble type player because you are bigger than
the other boys. He rebounded occasionally and with his height he got some junk baskets
around rim, but I didn't see any great post moves, or athleticism...
