JJ is just going through the motions. In the front of his mind is an image of his pay stub.

NW State play Baylor next. I hope Baylor shuts them out and holds them under 67 total yards offense so it will not look so bad on us.

The Ticket postgame asked JJ about UNT and he said that he had picked UNT to beat Texas.

Must rewatch, I don't recall them having three guys in the backfield immediately after the snap nearly as often as Baylor.

Coach speak so that if he loses he can say I told you they were good. The problem with that is that who saw UNT play UT knows those UNT isn't very good.

I know which makes it stupid for him to say. We aren't that stupid, at least those of us who don't use BigXII as a handle.

We are not falling for it June.

I think SMU's front defensive 7 was somewhat competitive against the level of competition. I have no confidence in any DB on our team against quality competition. I think they got lucky as hell tonite

He and his offense is a fraud. Only time I've seen it works is in Hawaii for some reason.

Lightning strike. They squeaked by in several close games that undefeated season.

And played one of the easiest schedules in the history of college football.

I actually remember reading he had said it this summer, at the conference media day I think. That does not mean it was not coach speak, but it was not spur of the moment.

I thought the D played pretty good and never let up. If the offense had managed a few first downs and kept Baylor's O off the field, the score would have at least been semi-respectful.

The problem is that JJ recruited too many 5'9 slot guys instead of linemen. We're young and thin on the Oline. If you think we looked bad last night, wait and see what happens if we have a couple of injuries on the Oline. I hope, our guys stay healthy and grow up PDQ.
