I am not up or down on any of our QBs. They are all inexperienced and have had 0 chance of succeeding. Way too early to be this negative on young kids who have no help, no time, no blocking, no hands to catch the ball..etc. We all could see this coming and the situation with Burcham would have even been far worse if GG had not been hurt giving him snaps last year. This is a coaching issue. But for fate with GG, we would have been entering this season without any QB having a single snap of experience. Seems to me like a coaching staff with no vision, long range planning and plain stupid coaching.

That's a total cop out. You can absolutely tell if a QB brings a swagger, leadership qualities and has the backs of his teammates.
If you want to blame the OL for issues, fine. But then you're avoiding the reality. Neal Burcham is lost and has no business playing Division I college football. He does not create the mantra that his teammates will fight for him.
When the new coaching staff arrives, Burcham will not be at SMU in 2015.

I was thinking about this earlier today. I think you are on to something.
Did we forget about burcham starting last year at Houston?? Pretty sure that outcome (shutout) would've been every game last year if not for GG. Burcham somehow was the only person in Dallas with feeling in his hands in the ice bowl and threw a touchdown pass.

Just 1 (the USF game)

Delivery is terrible. It's slow and he dips his wrist to a partial sidearm motion. That won't cut it in D1.
I guess it does in The Elite Summer Camp

I swear, he's great in practice.

Stallion is correct. GG single handily won a couple of games. We also had JJ and Holman who were 2 tough kids (and DJ of course) . . . Thompson should be running track, not playing football. What's most shocking is this offensive line - I actually thought that Briggs and Myers had some talent (and Lasecki is ok). Our defense has very few D1 caliber starters. Zelt, JR when healthy and I can't think of many others (maybe Shak Randolph just because of his size but he would be a 2nd/3rd string safety). On offense, I think it's DJ, Lasecki, Briggs, Pope and that's about it also (if we're talking D1 caliber).
And to say this when we are in Dallas freakin' Texas is absolutely unacceptable. We need to be the cool school to go to. Why UTSA, TCwho, WACKO, College Station . . . NONE of these places should be a better alternative. But it is what it is.

Exactly and Morrison never was involved either as he was after Josh Greer the starting QB for UNT at the time. He had to tell Josh he was out as June had offered and Burcham accepted without any talk with Morrison.

But Trent Dilfer told June how good Burcham was at his camp............
