they are playing Oklahoma the next week. they get ahead at half and coast. The lay it all out thoughts were years ago when we were 2-3 touchdowns close and mattered.

Our D plays as good as can be expected being on the field the whole game against a blah TCU Offense and our Ponies get their first regulation touchdown late against second string, TCU 37- SMU 13.

Patterson should be Junes' biggest fan. No competition for either sports attention in DFW or from recruits. They ought to be big drinking buddies.
And when did he show any love of Dallas or SMU? I must have missed that along the way.
I do agree June cared about his players, and he cared about guys he coached with over the years. he was a relationship guy - just not all the right relationships.
