All the games are sellouts but I think they were wondering how many will actually show up that bought tickets. Fair question. Regardless though it should be a fun atmosphere tonight. I will be there.

Since it is Lamar I can see some going there over the game but if SMU were playing Kentucky or someone like that then I am pretty sure that they would be at the game.

No one who knows who I am can question my fandom, but I will not be at the game tonight (at least not unless it goes long). It was a tough choice, but there are 16 other home games, and there is only 1 Pigskin Revue a year and it is ALWAYS at the same time on the same night of homecoming. So I am sending husband and 2 children to the game while I participate in a 90 (?) year old SMU tradition.
Same goes for reunion parties. I am chair of my 20th, which we scheduled for Saturday night, hoping that the tv scheduling would work out. It didn't. So I will be at kickoff and 1st quarter and then will have to go make an appearance at the party -- since there won't be another one for 5 years.
Of course, if SMU had scheduled homecoming when it should have been last month, none of this would have happened.
