Nice! I work in the BB&T building downtown, so I usually walk over after work. Woodruff traffic sucks (but this might fall on deaf ears with people in the D:FW area lol)

it is all relative...I spent a number of years in DC so almost nothing compares to that.

I live over near Thornblade CC and take the back way to Woodruff to miss all that traffic anyway.

Are you kidding me? Is this really the depth of where we are? Sounds like this thread is proof that you poor individuals have an emotional distress claim against the university. It's class action time. Look what SMU has done to you. In what universe is a Clemson fan base really going to show up and where red and blue? All because we signed away someone they didn't want anyway. You guys need to take this site more seriously. This thread has ruined my day.

I'm sorry but you're wrong.

I've sat in either an empty stadium or one where the away fans outnumber our fans for too many years now. We need to find all angles and build relationships with anybody who is interested. I don't care if they show up in prison uniforms, we need some fans, and if that means we can get 100 college fans to come to our games then that's a great place to start. I've bought plenty of tickets to other college games over the years, and I guarantee you there are college football fans in general living in DFW who would come to our games if we can find them and sell them on it. We're losing millions of dollars a year with our program and this is not the time to turn anybody a way.

Heck, I GUARANTEE YOU Morris will help out a little bit on this and be willing to contact some alumni representative to guage interest. It doesn't hurt anyone to at least look at the numbers....

I think Utah is hilarious-nobody can be that clueless and make this many irrelevant references to the NFL-so I find him humorous

I'm going to call him Johnny F'in Utah ("JFU")

Or better yet, we could convince the marketing department to allocate some funds to purchase random b-star appearances to walk around during game day a.k.a. Gary Busey, Mario Lopez, Lou Ferrigno.....

is christy canyon available?

Great idea. Might put us over the 10,000 mark in attendance.

we really do have some clueless people on this board. I guess they aren't aware of the attendance issues we've had ever since Doak helped build the Cotton Bowl. As a hard core Mustang who moved to S.C 20 years ago, I've adopted Clemson and South Carolina and have attended games of both schools when I've had no SMU conflict. Ever heard of association marketing?

What would Russ Potts and Brad Thomas do.

FYI - Utah is an admitted troll. Do not take the jack wagon seriously.

I have a very distinct feeling that attendance will not be an issue from here out.

BTW, great welcome for Coach Morris at the bball game last night.

Pony boy - are you kidding? It will always be an issue. We are the third smallest 1-a school. Improve in a huge way? Absolutely - but we have years of improvement before we pick up the casual Dallas fan, which we have to do to break 20k when playing the typical AAC team.

Yeah, it won't be an issue....just like someone had a feeling June would get us to a bowl this year.

Attendance has never NOT been an issue for us.

Tulsa, Rice, and Wake Forest are all smaller than us. We are about the same size as Duke and slightly smaller than Vandy

Not contradicting your point though
