I'm guessing the kids stayed in school in SC for the rest of this school year and will relocate in the Summer.

Family guy that puts his wife and kids WAY UP on the priority list. Probably doesn't want to uproot them again. Seeks challenges. Loved the family atmosphere at Clemson which he WILL create at SMU with all the fantastic students, faculty, fans, administrators, and DONORS. Values his young assistants and feels it's his responsibility to mentor them...which he does everyday. Is a winner and will put SMU on the map...which he has done in 5 days. That's all fact. My assumptions are that he has a long-term plan for SMU Football to include facilities, stadium, and student-athlete services with regards to tutoring and studying. Why would he want to leave for A&M, TCU, Baylor or Texas if we're beating their butts every year? SMU nation has already shown their appreciation and DESIRE to be National Championship contenders...which you will be within 3 - 5 years. Enjoy the present and prepare for the future!

she's finishing H.S. this year and my guess is that she might apply to SMU (do employees still get free tuition for their children?) From what I was hearing last year from some of my Clemson sources, Chad might have been our coach this season if his daughter had been a year older bt she wanted to stay and finish H.S in S.C.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if that's why we had to endure one more year of Jones. Perhaps HCCM was always the guy, and he couldn't take the job until this year...

One thing Chad Morris must do is make #SMU a better host for high school playoff games. Can't just unlock the gates.
