Chad Morris running the offense......check
Van Malone & Bill Young running the defense......check

(Yes, the same Bill Young who was a DC at Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC, Oklahoma State, etc.)

Chad has a plan, which even in the worst case scenario, is 10x better than anything Jones ever put forward.

Interesting story on why Young was out at OSU. Said Gundy didn't want an old guy as the face of the defense.

I love some of his quotes: “I’m not retiring,” he said. “I’m not a quitter. I feel like I can coach several more years.” “I’ve never even spoken to Chad Morris. He wouldn’t know me from a lump of coal,” Young told The Oklahoman. “I think a lot of people are putting things together because of my relationship with Van Malone.

He sounds like a guy with a chip on his shoulder. :D

Wow. That is an age discrimination suit laying out in the open, or does "over 65" take that off the table?

Yep. Malone can now be the 'face', but Young will play a crucial role. Already having worked together I'm sure they've got a very good relationship. I doubt Young at 68 will bring much ego and act more like a mentor for Malone.

Not going to be an easy transition to the 4-2-5 but it should be fun to see it develop.
