Congrats to Hunter but most would be complaining if this was a Jones commit.

Maybe some but I don't know about most. This guy reminds me of Margus and the Samoan lineman on the team..can't remember if he was more recently on o or d line. These are the kind of players you need to make a project out of.

Well, UTEP went to a bowl game last year

In all seriousness, taking a flyer or two doesn't bother PFs. Having a recruiting class over half filled with Diamonds, yep, that's a problem.

Using the term diamonds very loosely I'm sure

Just further dispels the myth of tiki finding DITRs.

EVERYONE is looking for talent in this state. When half your class has no other offers, it speaks volumes.

JJ's recurring deficiencies are now think this has been documented enough by now. Time to move on.

If you are going to take a flyer on someone, this is a good one to do it on. High motor and huge frame.

Wouldn't be surprised to see this guy becomes a offensive tackle.

13 commitments
6 with P5 offers

It might be a good idea going forward to have the thread titles mention what actually happened considering Chad is using that same "Boom....it's a GR8 day to be a Mustang!!" phrase on twitter for every commit.

Just a thought.

UTEP would have also beaten the crap out of SMU as well. Just saying...

Would be remiss not to point out that not only should we be counting so-called "P-5" offers, but simple offers from actual D-1 schools. The roster that June left is comprised of 55% percent of players who had NO offers to play anywhere D-1. As in 0. That kind of ineptitude is really hard to believe.

gostangs, congratulations on your ability to 'move on'.

For me, I will most likely 'move on' from the tiki heist about the same time I 'move on' from Pye or the Holiday Bowl.
