He also got to shoot more at VT. If you try 10 threes and hit 4 that's 12 points. If you try 3 threes and hit zero that's zero points. I think the guy is probably one of those guys who has to shoot his way into points. Miss on the first, miss on the second, closer on the third and then he hits 2 in a row, that sort of thing. Larry doesn't want the guys firing threes and prefers points in the paint. That's where you win games and break the will of the opponents.

Gu hasn't been much of a threat on offense, but he gives us valuable minutes and plays good D and grabs some boards when he is in the lineup. I, too have hope that he will be a significant contributor before he's done here.
