AS I woke up to see my wife almost ready for work... I said "Game Day" and she started acting like to camel as she had put on her red game day jeans to go to work. I am a lucky man.

Go Mustangs... close this season with three straight wins. One, Two, Three.

Also what the hell is going on with Carlisle and Rondo?! Hawks smoked the **** out of them last night.

This is a good measuring stick game to see what this team is made of. It is a game we should win, but it will be in a hostile environment with a big crowd against a Memphis team that is playing for pride and to better their position for post season.

I hope we can answer the call.

Definitely not a "must win", Tulsa still plays Cincy, @Memphis and @SMU, they have plenty of chances to lose as well. A win by SMU though ensures we are playing for a least a share of the title next Sunday, no matter what, and gives us some leeway to clinch at least a share (or the outright title) by then.

Go Ponies!

I haven't seen the Memphis troll on here since we beat them at home. I wonder where he has been?

Much to our chagrin, Tulsa has thus far taken care of business (in a flash). They hold the same conference record as us. We have to win at least one road game to assure that we will, al worse play of the conference title at home against Tulsa. This is a great opportunity to put pressure on Tulsa and secure a quality road win. Huge game before Tulsa won its last two games. Even bigger game now.

Vegas opened at SMU -2, but moved to -1.5. A little too close for comfort...

The situation is tense. It will be very interesting to see how it works out. BTW, the Hawks should beat the Mavs without TC, Parsons, Rondo and Amare.

Is Austin Nichols back for sure?

Memphis plays a lot of players, especially at guard and on the wing. May see a lot of Ben at the 3 to try and keep our guards fresh. Nic and MK will both need to play really well for us to win this on the road.

You can never count Memphis as a W, even in a down year.

Pretty sure there is no shared regular season champion. The tie breaker is head to head and then if that's tied its record against team ranked below the two tied teams and so on down the standings.

Hmm, I would almost be certain that a tie at the top is listed as co champions of the conference. Yes, they will do the tiebreakers for the AAC tournament seeding, but the tied teams would be able to raise co-champ banners.

Point will be moot though, since SMU is going to take care of business and win it out-right!
