Well, it's been forever since there was actually something to play for in the finale. Understandable why people might wanna hold off on seeing JMM and KD on the court for the tip.

I would actually like to see CC start with RM and YM. JMM and KM, though, will get torched on the defensive side (keeping their man in front of them) which could lead to some early fouls by our bigs unfortunately.
Anyway, if I were LB, I'd ask them ("Hey, want to start? I'd definitely start you if you want." And then let them decide). I could live with JMM and KM starting for a minute or 2 depending and it would be the "right thing" to do most probably.
If we get the tip (usually we do not) let RM drive to the rim and either get fouled, get blocked, or score. If Houston gets the tip or a blocked shot, then guard close man to man and foul. When play is stopped you sub in the starters. In the very worst case scenario, we are behind 3-0 which has happened often, and the seniors have had their glory. I bet in the majority of our games this year we have trailed after the first points were scored.
