Yeah - I feel bad for those mid-major conferences in situations like this.

I think the MWC was already getting 2 bids and the Wyoming win probably knocked Boise out. Call me crazy but I still think Tulsa has a shot to make it.

There are not really any mid majors on the bubble unless you count BYU or Boise State and it is hard to feel bad for Boise since they lost to Wyoming to create the issue.

With the number of teams coming out of the major conferences and the automatics, there is not enough room for us to get more than 2 unless UConn wins and then someone else will lose a team.

Tulsa has zero quality OOC wins, and a terrible loss to Oral Roberts.

I think the AAC will get no less than 3 teams in the big dance.

And they had a bottom heavy conference schedule

Doubtless.
I still think Cincinnati and Temple are both in. I guess we will know this time tomorrow night. After last season, I don't believe anything until I see it.

Kansas, Baylor, Iowa State, OU, WV, Texas, and Okie St. are all quality teams and would give us a game. the AAC is crap and 3 bids are what we deserve
Disagree. The Big 12 got through non-conference with good results and good RPI, and then it becomes incestuous as far as the rankings go. Good for them for getting to that point, but the top 6-7 in The American and the Big 12 are pretty even.
well, that's the case for all conferences. why did their teams perform better than AAC teams non-conference? they have 5 teams out of 10 ranked in the top 25 for a reason. The fact that Tulsa is 2nd place in the AAC with a bad non-conference is a testament to how bad the AAC is
Big 12-2 is a good league top to middle. But over-rated. Two years ago they had 5 in the tournament. 3 lost in the first round and none made it to the Elite 8. That didn stop the NCAA from inviting 7 of their teams the next year. 3 lost in the first round and none advanced to the Elite 8. We were better than at least 2 two of those teams and, well you know the rest. I honestly don't think that any conference should have more than half of their teams invited.

No offense, SMU was only a snub to ESPN. Most accurate "bracketologists" had them out. Lundari has been the 44th most accurate bracket over the last 3 years in terms of picking correctly and seeding correctly. Tulsa has a similar profile to last year's SMU without the great wins at the top (Cincinnati, Memphis and UConn x2). Their best accomplishment was sweeping Temple who very well could be playing in Dayton on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I think SMU was on 121 of 128 "professional" brackets last year. NCSU was on the other seven.

Absolutely not true. SMU was in 96 of 121 brackets last season. NC State was only in 3 and got in.

That is very incorrect. Here is the bracket matrix from last year. I suspect you are familiar with it because the 44th ranking for lunardi came from there (although he is actually 44th amongst brackets that have been published 3 years or more, not for the last 3 years).
As you can see 96 of 121 brackets had SMU in the tournament. What is your support for saying that most brackets had them out?

Must of misremembered because I had NC State in and SMU out in my own amateur seed listing.
