NCAA contempt for SMU is well documented and proven.

I put a lot of this on Areasco- our supposed commisioner. He needs to man up, get some balls and do some major complaining. We won't get any respect until he starts demanding it. He must insist that we get some representation on the committee. The AAC teams got hosed again this year. I think the AD and Univ. Presidents need to tell him to get something done or move on. JMHO.

I know this will not come out right, but the disrespect against the AAC is due to .... Us! We knocked out, directly, UConn and Temple. We probably were heavily responsible for Tulsa being out. I' m glad we won'and wouldn't have it any other way but we hurt our conference mates in the process.

Yeah. I'm sure Temple not getting in the NCAA caused a domino effect where the NIT didn't want to take four American teams.

IF boats right and Cummings are healthy enough I expect an AAC team to win the NIT.

According to him the AAC is a power conference. Would be nice if someone other than him thought that.

If SMU and UC get to the Sweet 16 then the BBall world I'll sit up and take notice.

We need to beat a power team from a P5 conference for the committee to think they made a mistake. Right now the UCONN Natty is looked upon as a fluke.

You guys need to beat those frauds from UCLA by 40 in order to save face for the conference. The NCAA is the most corrupt organization in the country and I doubt my Owls would have gotten in even if we had been able to beat SMU in the semi final.

They got in because they "passed the eye test" and "were gaining steam". Their best game down the stretch was losing to Arizona by 6. Really???

bottom line, AAC is a mid-major in the nation's eyes. Just like MWC, A10, a little above Horizon etc. We're looking at 2 bids a year, 1 sometimes.
