You are limited to 25 a year but you can count some back towards the prior year if you did not have a full class. They may have to come early. I am not sure how the back counting works. Hicks could have been back counted. But you are correct that you cannot carry forward.

I know there's a looong way to go, but I'm calling it right now and saying this will be a top 40 class (top 2-3 non P5 classes and 2nd in AAC) once it all shakes out. If we can have a good 2016 (.500 or even bowl game), I say our 2017 class will be best post-DP and possibly top non P5 in the country. Then, we REALLY start rolling.
Ok, ok. I need to relax.
And by "top 40" I mean "under 50".

SMU and UH will have the two best non P5 classes in the country. It is very likely that we will sign more recruits with P5 offers for 2016 than Morris inherited for the entire roster when he took the job.
