wondering if keith can hang another year or not. Wouldn't surprise me if we get that scholy back. Rooting for him but can't imagine he can tough it out past this year.
We really really need him to graduate

If Keith doesn't graduate we are screwed

What if he "goes pro" after this year and plays in Europe or something?
Also, I wonder if Emelogu's injury might be career ending. He's had a lot of knee issues

On the roster now we have eight scholarship players with eligibility next season. BTW, that's assuming Wilfong is a walk-on. With McDowell and Wilson that makes ten. As hoopmanx said, get two of three in Kapita, Bruno and Froling to put us at twelve. I think we should be good with that, and absolutely loaded.

As long as he leaves in good standing I am fine with that

I'm as desperate for a big as anyone, but with the scholarship reductions we need to hit on every single signee. This guy has a lot of red flags and it's not like we have done the best job keeping guys on the margin eligible. I'd only take hi if its for sure one of the others would sign.

If his issue is lack of credits and not grades, then he may not be as much of an academic risk. But I agree, we shouldnt be taking commitments unless we're 100% sure they'll be on campus next summer

Could be a credit issue.

It is. My bigger concern would be eligiblity since there were reports he'd signed with a minor pro league after Arkansas didnt work out

He didn't sign. Went to a prep school instead from my understanding.

"Norof confirmed to ESPN that the Dealers also have agreed to a deal with former Arkansas signee Ted Kapita -- who checked in at No. 71 in ESPN's Top 100, but did not qualify to play for the Razorbacks this season."
http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13629 ... oyce-whiteIf he didn't actually accept any money then I think he's OK, but it could be an issue.

Given the last year, I'm pretty sure the staff wouldn't touch him if there was any chance of an issue.

I believe his current coach indicated that he never signed. I am sure the staff has checked everything out so that is the least of my concerns. I just hope we stay his number one school and get him committed to SMU.

Sign all three and deal with sanctions later. Take 4 next year with the Jrs leaving. Then 3 more the following year while signing 2 more. Then hope regarding scholly reduction appeal
