Not sure we'll get to the hot dog stand before the game due to PBC*
FWIW: we stay at The Saint on Canal. It is an extremely hip and fun upscale place. The Quarter is around the Corner so you can stroll through it during the day and get out before amateur hour. FRenchman is a late night must for us.
* prior brunch commitment

Try Camelia grill for a great breakfast. You can ride the street car along St. Charles to the corner of Carrollton and its right there. They also have a good burger if you go for lunch. The guys behind the lunch counter are hilarious and are easily provoked with Saints discussion.

can't go wrong with a bite from Cochon if you can swing the WWII museum

Mustang club has sent out their gathering spot prior to the game. It also will be at Dat Dog. Looking forward to this Sunday. What are others doing? Might we get together somewhere on Friday? Saturday?

Gameday. Looking forward to see Mustang fans at that HS gym of Tulane's (to be fair, Tulane's basketball arena is the 5th oldest active use basketball arena in the NCAA).
Re: Alumni gathering before the Tulane game in NOLA
Arena is small but I was impressed - very intimate (way more than moody).
There weren't many people there but it got very loud at some points in the game

Camelia Grill is perfect for great, cheap breakfast
