The rest of the conference received not a single vote. Good job, everyone else.

Without post season opportunities, looks like Gonzaga will be our last chance to make a statement. Hope it is a BIG statement.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

if you think wins @Temple, UCONN, Memphis and Cincy are going to come easy, you're mistaken. we had a nice margin of victory when it was all said and done yesterday, but that was a tough win against a pretty bad team. the deeper we get in the season, the more physically worn down our team will be, and with each win, the next team up is looking to make THEIR statement win and be the team that knocked SMU off our high horse.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Navy got a vote. Maybe we should've added them in hoops, too.

Worried about our depth as we get into the home stretch of conference. We get a weeks reprieve after Houston and Temple this week and can hopefully get our legs refreshed then.

This concerns me. I don't like the way the AAC is trending. Two years ago, we had 4 teams in the tourney, and SMU was the last team cut. Last year, we had 2 teams. This year, frankly, we appear to be trending towards 1 bid since SMU is out of the mix. AAC hoops needs to step it up!! We've got good programs in this conference. It should be a 3-4 bid league every year!!

The problem with the conference is that Temple, Tulsa, Memphis, Cinci and UCONN are under preforming and the only arguable over performer is Houston (but we will see if that lasts). There are excuses as to why Cinci UCONN and Memphis have been inconsistent/bad this year but on paper all 3 of those teams have the talent to be decent tournament teams. If those 3 teams were tournament teams Temple and Tulsa could become tournament teams by preforming well vs them and the rest of the conference.
