Not even close to comparable...froling wasn't commited to illinois...moore would be bailing the weekend before nsd after being commited for months.

That's very rare for a qb to do especially wo a coaching change. I honestly think he ends up at smu, but if he bounces, it's really shady.

Just looking at the reaction in general. How could he end up at SMU when they have pulled his scholarship?

At least come up with some new material. Put some effort into it.

Am I missing something here, or is Moore still a part of the SMU class as we speak? The number of people trashing on the kid is pathetic. All of a sudden he goes from one of our most important recruits, and Morris' QB of the future, to overrated garbage........because he took a stupid visit?

This ought to be fun in the future, if Morris continues to go after higher rated guys with 10-20+ offers. Like Stallion even said himself, you tell those type of kids they can't take other visits and they're simply going to tell him to F off.

Everyone going to look really stupid if Mr. Moore is signing with SMU on the 3rd.

yeah - hard to believe but i agree with football dad on this one. Recruiting is a funny business and we just have no idea what is going on. We may have cooled on him due to his less than stellar season and told him to put feelers out - or memphis might be just beating us on him - you just never know. Regardless if you don't really know you just say nothing. Kind of look like a tool if you wail on the kid when you don't know the facts.

Having David Moore would have been a good get but like I said somewhere else we already got a good qb that we redshirted last year. Now another good player can take moore's spot and there will be room for a good qb in the next class. While moore signing would be ideal, it's not that big of a deal..he would likely redshirt anyway next season and good dual threat qbs aren't exactly turning their phone off when they know Chad Morris and co. Are calling. Gotta play the long game

I do not think anyone is trashing Moore. I hope he ends up at SMU. That said if he does go to Memphis, it is not the end of the world. I think everyone is just mocking KittyJ for acting like they are stealing the next Sure-fire Heisman winner. As I said I hope he comes to SMU, fits the system perfectly and has a great career. Also, if anyone goes back in on their word and breaks an agreement I think it is legitimate to say that raises character issues.
