I think the MOB was cool for novelty sake because Larry Brown was our coach--aka the Godfather of basketball coaches for the current generation.
Now we should change the name to something more sustainable that is about SMU or related to SMU basketball history.
There is no reason why we should have a mob theme. There is nothing gangster about SMU and its fans.

back in my day, they had a student spirit group that wore white shirts to football games...can't remember what they were called. I think this might be a good opportunity to bring back a little Mustang Mania and maybe the student section could be the Mustang Maniacs? or Moody Maniacs? T-shirt opportunity written all over this. If they want to refer to their domain in Moody as the Jankyard...at least for as long as Jank remains our HC...that might work as well.

As much as I liked Jankyard I suppose it should be something more generic so we do not have to change when Jank goes. The MOB is good but maybe someone can come up with something else.
