They may send the JV to play us.
Great, then we 'll win if they take us lightly. But seriously they lost to an average Navy team and barely beat Tulsa at home who we played very tough.

SMU defense is terrible so obviously they won't be able to stop Ward. SMU also has no home field advantage and we should have more fans there like we did in 2014 and take over the stadium. Should be a pretty easy win.
Tulsa's D is terrible too and they stayed with Houston in Houston so it can be done.
I think our kids will play hard against Houston and our coaches will be working hard to motivate them since there will probably be quite a bit of recruits at the game. I still think we lose big but I think we'll see effort on the field. Hope we have a good turnout.

We should play Hicks as much as possible the rest of the year. Next year's qb depth chart math doesn't favor Colbert, Hicks needs to use this time to try and continue to learn the system and get ready for the upcoming off season qb competition.
If Colbert is ready to go then he could atleast run from trouble if it gets to that point and it probably will. Doesn't hurt to have another dimension at QB in this our biggest game of the year.
