Tom Herman's "Private School In Dallas" Remark

Re: Tom Herman's "Private School In Dallas" Remark
As unrealistic as it is, I hope we both win out. Going forward I would like for both of us to be annual Top 25 teams with us keeping them from their goals each season. It would be great for the conference and for both teams going forward as it would definitely build the rivalry and possibly land us in a Power conference if not cement the American's reputation as one.

He's right...they WERE the team to beat in the AAC but now it's clearly Navy. Let's just hope we all keep improving because the AAC west in particular is looking like it has a lot of potential to make some noise against P5 opponents in the future

Haha, I noticed the same thing on the sidelines. Morris looks hip and Herman is stuck in the early 00's.

Some of us are just trying to reset the fashion statement. Leave us alone.

My problem is not the style nearly as much as they shrunk a lot.

Look, we needed someone to spit in our faces and then we needed to respond. We, not only as a team but as a program and fan base NEED to care about something. We're in a league we're ten out of the twelve teams don't mean squat to our fanbase, so we have to have someone wake us up.
Herman was the first step. Hopefully more follows.

I'm looking forward to more wins, leopold...and less spit.

12 out of 12 judging by attendance at Ford.

Our games against UTEP as members of CUSA drew as well as any of our AAC games have

Our last game with them (26,691) drew far better than any of our AAC games have. The 2016 Houston game (25,079) is the only that comes close.

We should add UTEP to the non-conference schedule. UTEP, UNT, TCU, Kansas/Iowa State/Vanderbilt/Kentucky would be winnable, respectable and good for attendance.

Sunshiner post here...
I think we will see a good memphis crowd if we take care of Tulane. If we then beat memphis I expect a shift in attendance. Kind of like the Moody effect. Momentum and what not.

Kansas/Iowa State/Vanderbilt/Kentucky wouldn't be good for attendance unless you're talking about basketball.

Agreed, but they are power 5 teams that we would have a good chance of beating.
