I also have concerns about ipf and attendance. He's worried he'll go 10-2 and still play crowds like usf 2nd half and have no ipf.

IPF won't be built for another 5 or 20 years. And he will be constantly fighting RGT to get it done all along the way.

CM knew what the situation was here when he took the job. He knew it would be an uphill climb and it will be. Outside of the IPF maybe not getting done as soon as he would have liked he was totally aware of the challenges with this program and seemingly accepted them wholeheartedly.

The is a load of junk. He was flat out promised the IPF and now is being told that there are funding problems which he wasn't told at his hiring.

Have the IPF costs gone up tremendously over the last two years? Logistics seem to be a big issue as well.

Can't get the funding. We know where it will go and we're using our virtual picture of it to convince recruits to come here.

Can anybody blame him for being p!$$ed? he was lied to and that falls on Hart. We all know that conditions change but that should not change what he was promised. RGT never seems to find funding problems to build another fountain or one of his other pet projects.

Then why did you not write the check?

I have written my check smart alec. But RGT promised him that before anyone wrote a check. People should not promise things they can't deliver. That's what RGT did.

I don't know if CM...or any of us realize that SMU is not some sleeping juggernaut of cash and desire like the early 80s. It's more like a Wizard of Oz "don't mind that man behind the curtain" situation now. Even if he postures to leave and gets some more salary for himself and his staff here, I don't think that will budge any IPF/facility upgrades. It may just [deleted] everyone off.

SMU has not asked me for my $25 to go toward the IPF...:(

because I think RGT is a POS who could care less about our sports programs.
BTW- my check would likely bounce unless it was drawn on your bank. haha. JK.

I offered to give a very substantial donation with a group who wanted to fight the DP in court and we were told to shove our money where the sun doesn't shine. That administration had no balls to step up and fight. As a result my donations have been very selective.
