ΓÇö WeΓÇÖll also have something coming later this week on Semi Ojeleye, who had a good week athletically. He looks like an athletic beast at near 6-foot-7, 241 pounds with an outrageous 5.5 percent body fat. But despite that level of girth, he had the third-best lane agility time, eighth-best three-quarter court sprint and put up an outrageous 40.5-inch vertical leap. In the five-on-five portion, he scored in double figures in both games, had six steals and dished out a few assists. Overall, a strong week. IΓÇÖd place his draft range anywhere from 23 on down to 45.
I don't think he will regret his decision at all. He is 23, he is healthy, and has his degree. This is probably his best time to go based on the information he had. Time for his to start him career in either the NBA or overseas. Best wishes Semi and don't look back, you made the.right decision.

Great note from Semi, both because of his heart felt honestly and appreciation for all that impacted him as well as all he impacted... And the wording. I think he's gone, but he sure left himself an out with "I plan" and "when the time is right" wording.
Semi handled this situation perfectly. Great player and great person. Whether he is selected late first or early second he will have a nice NBA career, just please don't let it be the Spurs.
Outwork everyone, Semi. Proud to have you representing SMU.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four 2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
"Came here cuz of Larry Brown". Hope to hear "Came here cuz of Jank" in the future when we are losing studs like Semi to the next level. As far as next season, it was nice to dream.

Semi leaves SMU with his lifelong support and I'm just thinking that, with success in the NBA ahead of him, that awesome letter becomes one heck of a recruiting tool. I think we already have seen evidence of this in Isaiah's Mike's decision.
Good luck to Semi.....what a great young man. I hope he gets taken in the first 40 picks.
Replacing he, Ben and Sterling is a taller task than replacing Nic, Markus and Jordan I believe....but I have faith in Coach Jank and his staff and with Shake and Jarrey coming back and the other incoming pieces we will be near the top of the conference again. Really gonna miss Ben and Sterling's tenacity.
