Akoy Agau will visit SMU this weekend

Heard we should have a decision from Agau in the next 2 days. Haven't seen anything final though so we will see. I feel good about our chance to land him, though Illinois has a shot. I think the fact we have more PT at the 5 spot, him knowing and talking with Semi, and us having been better than Illinois lately/being more of a contender next year will push us over the top. Really need him.

No kidding. Was talking to a buddy of mine who is usually well in the know and he said that things are quietly optimistic, but that is all he knows. Agau said within a week like 3-4 days ago so should be this weekend, unless he pushes it to early next week.

Think he was about to pick Maryland on Friday - this delay is only good for SMU. Perhaps he is taking the weekend to contemplate.
