My heart says we have improved enough that we can beat these guys but my mind says I just want to see a competitive game for 60 minutes and come away with a moral victory that tells me we are getting closer to being able to beat Top 25 teams. TCU 34 SMU 24

I think we give them a game and at the half it's pretty close - something like TCU 24 SMU 17.
Unfortunately I also think they smother Sutton with their DBs that are vastly superior to any other team we play and shut us down in the 2nd half, while our defense tires out.

Hicks has a "houston" type game, their QB gets rattled and throws two INTs to Wyatt (one for a pick 6) and Quinn scores the winning TD late in the game with another stiff-arm run after catch. Time expires. SMU 27, TCU 24. Oh yeah, guess I was daydreaming there for a while.
