SMU has to learn how to win on the road if they want to take a step forward. Games like Tulsa last year & Houston 2 weeks ago were missed opportunities. I believe SMU will be up to the task! As a few others have predicted SMU 40s & Cin in the mid 20s.

Game will likely be up for grabs late into 4th Q

Our defense is just terrible.

So is Cincy's Offense but I do believe some are underrating Cincy's chances since Cincy's losses have come against teams that are 27-3. In my mind they have similar talent than SMU but SMU has the clear advantage in Offensive skill positions. I'll take a 1 point win-its a big game for this program

I'm expecting a closely contested game. 36-34

I want to see more finishing drives on offense by running in the red zone, which will provide consistency. There should be a point in this game where Cincy realizes that they can't keep up with our offense.

Other changes I'm looking forward to:
- More rotations in the OL, including playing time for Howerton
- CB lining up tighter to allow the DL to put pressure on the QB.
- Who steps up with Mixon out - Scott or Badejo.
- More rotation at LB, and the chance to see if Robinson and Hailey can make their presence felt.
- McQueen playing in standard sets, not just the 3 safety nickel package.


SMU 42 - 27 by forcing some field goals instead of allowing touchdowns, and we score TDs instead of settling for field goals. Otherwise, this is a close game all the way through.

Trying to figure out how we get to 42.

5 TD, 3 XP, 3 FG?

6 TD, 3 XP, 1 FG?

6 TD, 4 XP, 1 Safety?

Who replaces Mixon? Neals? Is this a big worry?
