Chad will do fine at Arkansas. And I laugh at those who say Arkansas will never perform at a high level. They have out performed all SEC schools except Alabama, Auburn (recently), and Florida. They have a BB national championship, and have played in a few FB championships. If Chad does what I think he will and if Saban ever retires or dies, I think you will find Arkansas very competitive.

Huh? Love ya Mrydel but Arky outperforming SEC schools is not true - not in football in relevant history.
2012 - 4-8
2013 - 3-9
2014 - 7-6
2015 - 8-5
2016 - 7-6
2017 - 4-8
That is no bueno. For a long time.
Chad may turn it around, but no idea why someone would choose arky over many other better SEC football schools if you have the choice. If you just want to play in the SEC for a mid to bottom tier football SEC school then at least go get an education at Vandy.

SInce Arky entered the SEC, here are the list of schools who have a lower SEC winning percentage than them:
Mississippi
Mississippi St
Kentucky
Vanderbilt
that’s it, although Aggies & Mizzou do have smaller sample sizes.

Would you rather have a better winning percentage or a few trips to the championship?

Correct. They have not been at the top lately, but Alabama was also down for a few years before Saban came. It comes in cycles.

Saban could go another decade, will Chad last that long?

I do not think Saban will be at Alabama more than 2 more years.

Any reason why or just the usual wishful thinking from fans of his SEC competition? Every time he loses a game they've got him retiring or going back to the NFL

Just my opinion. Lots thought he would stop after this year. But Arkansas did ok against Alabama until Petrino took up porno motorcycling

Love watching Stallion try and put lipstick on a pig- Arkansas was DEAD LAST in the SEC in recruiting. Behind Miss St who also hired a new coach, behind Ole Miss with sanctions and a lame duck coach, behind Kentucky, and behind Vanderbilt.
Also- the ΓÇ£no. 1 DE in the countryΓÇ¥ that Stallion alluded to potentially committing to Arky today? That’s Dorian Gerald- he’s a three star on Rivals and 247. But I’m sure John Chavis isn’t washed up and just cashing checks now, he’ll coach him up!
I would legitimately rather have Dykes/Lashlee/Kane as my HC/OC/DC combo than Morris/Craddock/Chavis.... and I liked Chad. But Craddock is way in over his head and Chavis is mediocre to put it generously- his best days are WAY behind him

You stopped before the 11-2 and 10-3 Sugar Bowl seasons lol. Bielema was statistically one of the worst coaches in Arkansas history. No one thinks they should be Alabama but they’re not Vanderbilt either. About the same as A&M historically.
As for the recruiting class this year, when you only sign 16 players it’s not going to rank very high. There is a recruit announcing tonight and if he goes to Arkansas the average player rating will be more around 9th in the SEC.
