SMU Lands 4-Star Safety X-fer

My take on the defense:

Nelson and Moore are rock stars. Good depth at DL (McLaurin not working in the 2 deep just makes me sad). Getting the 4 star safety transfer immediately eligible will be HUGE, and I'm hoping we get another experienced CB. Otherwise, we'll be "ok" on the front end and very very thin on the backend. Best news is we have Kevin Kane, who I'm extremely high on. We also have a few others at CB that are "ok" like Sutton and Davis don't forget. Losing McQueen really hurts. I feel terrible for that guy. I figure we'll be about the same as last year on defense, MAYBE slightly better. But it depends on injuries and if we can land a quality CB and get the new safety immediately eligible.

I am just glad we have a coach who realizes there are three phases to the game again.
