At most schools that issue falls directly on the head coach. No excuses for not recruiting.

Who is making excuses? I thought Jankovich was going to be fired at the end of the season. He wasn't, and has made some good moves since. It may be too little too late, but we have him through the end of the season so I would rather be good than bad. Life is too short to keep waiting for next year, especially when every season we are 2.5 recruiting classes away from being competitive in football and basketball.

I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances in both football and basketball this year and of course I'm still hoping the NCAA cuts us some slack and grants immediate eligibility to all of the transfers who are hoping to play this year.
