I will say (now excluding Georgia) everything outside the top 10 is a complete cluster f. It seems the separation between everyone is even from 11-50 top teams. Anyways still nervous. Good for USF doing something for the conference!

Memphis - Temple is the only game I missed in ESPN pickem this week (assuming the Boise score holds). I'd say Bama, Clemson, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Wisconsin are the 7 elite teams. I'll expand your range: the difference between 8-75 is small. Turnovers, penalties, or weather equalize really, really quickly. Outside of that, the best QB wins, which is the only reason Texas is in the top 25, and why we are undefeated right now.

One wonders if this team has some similarities to the '82 team in that opponents played hard and close against SMU only to be crushed the following week. Teams get beat up playing a physical team and I wonder if Tulsa not only lost a heartbreaker playing their best game of the season, but also got physically beat up by us. We do play much more physical this year than we have seen in decades. And we have depth that allows us to keep that physical pressure up the entire game.

Temple has been solid for some time now and this coming game will gives us an idea of how strong we are.
