Barely beating SJSU... why are they even ranked? Outside of # wins, what do they have? Seems to me just a blue field and history.

Yet a loss to 4-4 BYU has the same effect as losing to a one loss Memphis at Memphis.

there is pedigree even on the G5 level. We are still mongrels for the moment. Win a few seasons and win a couple of significant bowls, and we get the same nod.

Not fair, but it is our reality at this time.
