Always good to beat UCONN, and its the first time I can recall seeing and hearing Husky fans at Moody. Probably because of the absolute lack of any energy by the home crowd. When we lost the big lead at the end there was an attempt at noise in the last minute, but it was weak. Bought 2 tickets for 8 each and sat in my old season ticket seats that cost 1,400 per last year. Truly sad, and IΓÇÖm curious to see what happens concerning ticket prices and donation requirements for next year.
Lower ticket prices are achievable via exactly what you did last night. Smart move.
Houston game is going to be half full at best. It's never going to be full so long as Jank is a coach. Or he miraculously proves us wrong and takes us to the NCAA championship. At this point, unless y'all disagree because of our losses to Gtown and Georgia, we have to win this game to even be in the conversation. Lose here and we are NIT at best unless somehow we survive the AAC tourney.
ponyboy- you know as well as I do that the figures quoted are always inflated. Lots of tickets sold to season ticket holders who seldom attend. I would be interested in the actual 'turnstile' numbers of those who enter the arena. IMO Moody will not be half full for the Houston game unless brings a huge number of fans.
