I’m a traditionalist, but I loved them (especially the helmet). I overheard two recruits at the game gushing over them as well - there you go!

I love them. They really stand out. You can’t argue with the results!

I am pretty sure that SMU Mustangs were cited as inspiration for the Ford Mustang

SMU and Georgia unis for the win, IMO.

I am usually not a fan of Alt Uniforms especually for SMU… the blue was a bit bright.. and yet I thought the uniforms looked awesome, I am glad they put SMU on the chest instead of Dallas script. Still not a fan of the D on helmet, but if they are gonna use it, can we not make the mustang a little larger? it is too small. 77 points scored maybe tainting my opinion!

The helmet just further emphasized the significance of this game, i.e., Dallas vs Houston as the Cougs wore H-town helmets. Chalk one up for the good guys!

I don’t care if they wear pink lace jerseys with matching bonnets. As long as they win !!!

Lashlee talked about the origin of the black unis. Rashee played a big part in this decision and Lashlee said they will be back...but maybe not this year.

I was there w/my sister and friends. When I talked to my husband this morning (he watched at home) he said he and our sons said they thought we looked bad [deleted] when we ran on the field.

Decidedly mixed black uniform weekend. We won. Commanders lost. Capitals lost. So SMU can keep theirs, Coms and Caps can burn theirs.

Caps' alternate jerseys looked OK — the play on the ice did not.
The Commanders' (I still can't say that) uniforms looked like XFL or FCS threads.
