Hart had little say or impact with this process and decision. In fact, ADs are mere pawns and have no choice but to be reactive as the conferences dictate the rules based on markets, payouts, tv deals, etc. Turner probably had veto power. Rightfully and respectfully, David Miller and other large donors are the reason why we are finally in a great position for the future. Did we buy our way into the ACC? Probably…but who cares? Thank you for all for making this happen.

President Turner deserves credit for nurturing positive relationships with the influential members of Board of Trustees, easier said than done, for ~30 Years. It's part of the reason that he's been so successful at raising money, he's good with human relationships, after all, he does have a PhD in Psychology.
