Nope. If Stone throws deep, bet on him throwing it short. He might connect on a few, but more often than not, you are going to win that bet.

My nope was about not getting a first down. Too early to say Stone isnΓÇÖt the guy

I must say this is the troubling game IΓÇÖve watched for us so far this year.

I mean is Mike McCarthy secretly calling the plays tonight/all season? Coach Rhett a good guy but not sure he will be the guy long-term. Represents the school well the other 6 days of the week, but doesnΓÇÖt get these guys fired up at all on gameday. Our wins are more due to our opponentΓÇÖs short comings, not because we have played well.

I get it will take a couple years to reshape the roster, but it would be nice to see us to ΓÇ£more with lessΓÇ¥ instead of ΓÇ£less with lessΓÇ¥

Preston Stone looks lost, and he has no clock in his head. When there isnΓÇÖt anything there, throw it away. I donΓÇÖt understand the sacks or almost sacks 5-6 seconds into the play.

Tonight I was expecting us to launch into the rest of the season and this is not a good omen for the rest of the year.

He looks like his confidence is shaken. Clearly Rhett canΓÇÖt figure out calls to get the running game going, but Stone needs some quick pass calls where he can just sling it and not have to overthink it

playing just well enough to lose this one...
My hope is JasonB is right on the "pull away late" thing...

Stone throws it short when it needs to lead the receiver on a long throw and throws it as hard as he can for a short pass. Admittedly, Lashlee doesnΓÇÖt seem to be recognizing it and call some RPOs or quick slants.

I would suggest a different QB

Finally made some progress and the kicker canΓÇÖt kick. What was that.

We are choking and trying hard to lose this game. Rogers has become a mental case with his kicking and I'm tired of Stone always backing up another 5-10 yards after taking the snap

If the kicker canΓÇÖt kick beyond 25 yards then go for it. This game is on Lashlee.

Once again a joke of a game for SMU. Stone just puts a sour taste in my mouth every game he plays
