While our offense is usually a struggle I am starting to love our stifling defense. Jankovich had amazing offense with non-existent defense. Last year we had no offense and no defense. This year we still struggle on offense but at least we have a stifling defense. Hopefully we can add solid offense to pair with this defense and when that happens we will have a team reminiscent of the Larry Brown days.

Defense takes athleticism and will. If you're willing to do the work, you can have a dominant defense. It looks like Lanier has gotten these guys to buy into that lunch pail ethic. That's the toughest part of coaching. Guys want to score not stop scores.
