Enfield summed it up pretty well...we are much bigger but Prairie View is much quicker and they are taking it to us. SMU with 9 different guys scoring in that half and 2 came off the bench to score double figures (Harris & Cross). This is going to be an all hands on deck game and we just have to hope we can wear them down in the 2nd half

SMU's zone giving Prairie View trouble. This is a big lineup we are playing with and now have a 33-18 rebound advantage

Nearly 5 minutes into the second half and the second unit has stayed on the floor.

Harris ΓÇö the shortest Mustang on the floor ΓÇö misses a layup but then goes up between two bigger Panthers to get the put-back

62-48

Good job by the coaching staff to go to this zone which has taken away PV's quickness advantage and really taken advantage of our height. SMU with a 39-19 rebounding advantage

Two Panthers, Marcel Bryant and Ryan Bolton, have picked up 4 fouls.
Bryant is still in the game ... and just got away with what could have been foul No. 5.

At the risk of jinxing things, PV has no steals this half. Guys are doing a better job of protecting and moving the ball. 15 assists on 24 made FGs now

Yi─ƒito─ƒlu with nice positioning in the low post and a soft baby hook for a bucket. If he can get that position consistently, he's going to be a handful for opposing defenses.

SMU 74, PVAMU 55

Yi─ƒito─ƒlu already getting the "he's big so fouls don't matter as much" treatment. Took a strong shot in the back ΓÇö no call.

Then got tangled up when going for a rebound, and engaged in a little wrestling match over the ball. Didn't back away from trash-talking opponent.
