Three 1st half picks thrown by Stone and Tulane goes up 20-3. Preston goes 7-13 for 71 yards and those 3 INTs. Also takes 2 sacks for minus 18 yards while holding the ball too long trying to make a play. Will be interesting to see if Northwestern sticks with Stone in the 2nd half or whether his college career is about to come to an early ending

Tennessee leads Syracuse 31-14 at half. From what I saw Syracuse has a serious tackling problem.

Who are y’all rooting for tonight…LSU or Clemson?
The Son of Clem. Easy decision.

I guess UT decided to hold their Heisman candidate out of this game and have instead gone with some clueless guy named “Manning” who looks like a deer in headlights.

I would say Texas was over hyped w/the #1 ranking.

Ya think? Texas and Notre Dame are overrated more often than not but there's plenty of football still to be played this year so it will be interesting to see how both Texas' and Ohio State's 1st year QBs progress

Rough 1st game at Northwestern for Preston Stone who throws 4 INTs and gets sacked for another minus 40 yards as Tulane wins easily, 23-3

Syracuse fighting back but still down 38-26 in what appears to be an opening game loss @ Tennessee who has the ball near mid-field

Ohio States defense was good, but a decent TX QB would have beaten them.
I watched two games last night: Baylor vs Auburn and Colorado vs GT. All four of those QBs faced more pressure than these two QBs today did.

Alabama tied with FSU at 7 in the second. We need FSU to make a good showing here, even if they don't win.
Pulling for Miami and Clemson later on.

Aye this^.
Mrs peruna81 is a 'Nole, and Miami and Clem's son both need to step up for the conference. So grateful to be playing in a conference that makes the bigly dozen jealous...and the other two nervous...

17-7 FSU at the beginning of the third with FSU getting the ball.
Alabama was supposed to have the best OL and possibly a top 10 D Line coming into the season and FSU is not only holding it's own against them they are winning in some cases.
