To replace it, he wants to bring the SEC champ game to Dallas. Alternate every year between Atlanta and Dallas. The Big12 and UT can watch it on TV in their backyard if they don't want to play ball. Add SMU, complements A&M, opens up North Texas recruiting, and put the SEC Champ Game at Jerryworld in alternating years. Bam.
There is no doubt in my mind that if this SEC thing is real, Jerry will be one of the driving forces behind it. SEC title game for sure at Jerry World and he may be thinking some of our home games as well. If we couldn't do all games at Ford, I would prefer Cotton Bowl for obvious reasons (Doak built it, close to campus).
Agree to play 2 games a year at jerry world until we get stadium to 50k

Yes, SMU in talks with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
I still like my secret conference thread "headline":
"SMU to NFL Europe"

Some of you need to stop drinking so early in day. Although it is Friday. And if it is after 5:00 pm., so - come to think of it, the SMU Athletics Dept is entirely empty and they are probably at Ozona's. Let's all go down there to ask them what is really happening.
We offer NOTHING to the SEC - anyone who is getting revved up about this will be sorely disappointed.
SEC schools - including Vandy - draw more fans for their Spring Game than we do for C-USA games. By the way, do we even have a Spring Game? (I forgot that it is not imporant to have fans or a marketing plan right Dutch and 2ndandlong?)
We would be lucky to see a MWC-CUSA merger and hope for the best.
Hoping to be included in a SEC expansion is a little like the ugly fat 9th grader dreaming of dating the head cheerleader.
You're kind of hoping for him, but you know deep in your heart that it is not going to happen.
Google EJ Holland and Daily Campus you ^&*() idiots ...
in my dreams, the head cheerleader is a girl, not a he...

Anybody know how much money SMU needs to commit to increase attendance for Ford Stadium ? $ 100 Million or less ? Maybe that's what Orsini means when he says " a lot of things have to happen." Got to raise that money.

I doubt that is an issue.
