Despite how the final week played out, still a fantastic 23-8 regular season for SMU. So no complaints for me since I had SMU at 21-10, with a 10-8 conference record.

If we can't play better on the road how do we expect to do well in the conf. tourney?
very poor level of energy and hustle today. We didn't come to play and they did..

We did that to Louisville at the YUM Center...it happens.

Now top 5 seeds will be determined by the UConn at Louisville game.

Like LB said this team does not handle adversity very well. Hope Louisville wins there game.
Do we fall out of top 25? My gues probably even though these are 2 "good" losses.
We are out.

Beat the crap out of Houston in the AAC tourney.
Hey thanks. Y'all were tough today. Proud that our guys made a run at the end when we could have folded.
Good season all around for the American. It's gonna be fun to watch the rivalries develop.

Memphis athleticism destroyed our patient offense gameplan
No poise
Got hammered on boards
Austin Nichols really kicked our [deleted]
Failed to finish
Memphis got hot from 3 during key sequence
Bad scheduling-toughest loss of year then on the Road for Memphis Senior Day
Not really that's surprised-just wished we played with more poise

I don't think SMU falls out of the top 25. . . But what do I know

Yes. This was where we lost the game. Our rebounding lately is not where it has been. Not blocking out and scraping glass.

Well, I would say the Louisville game gives this performance a run for the money in that department.
Personally, i'd go with the Louisville performance.

Some weird decisions in both. Maybe over coaching. He might be trying to hard or something. I don't get it.

I think we actually showed a little bit of poise (not too concerned about that although better dealing with adversity on the road is a big let down - I think that's coaching and experienced leadership on the floor that teams like Louisville and Memphis have that we don't . . . yet). Nic Moore kept his head, which was a good sign. We didn't play the 3 ball all that great (no shocker there - Keith can be faulted for 2 of them in that critical stretch). And Nichols kicked our [deleted] because of bad matchup rotations (he's good, no doubt, but they play their 2 best bigs together - we don't . . . also, same reason we got hammered on boards).

Yep, LB ain't perfect, and he admits it.
Still looking forward to next week.
